The project derives its inspiration from Souq Waqif's historical context of being adjacent to the sea. It aims to extend the Souq to the current shoreline to bring back the old spirit of the traditional build forms being linked to the sea. Main plaza is defined by three circles that merge to a o form a raised part of the plaza allowing the visitors to enjoy the sea view while hiding the service spaces. The landscape compliments this idea by maintaining a visual connection between the Diwan amiri and Islamic museum
