Shyouk Port is one of the oldest facilities in Doha, being an essential part of the history of the city.The port is an artificial peninsula connected to the main road and sea side promenade at Al Corniche, in a very prime location, very close to the Museum of Islamic art, and the Amiri Diwan. The scope of works includes the enhancement of the finishes and creation of a multifunctional landscape scheme which will allow an efficient and functional use of the port while serving as welcoming Metropolitan Park for the general public, supported by the recently built restaurant and new substation.
